Thredbo Downhill Opening Weekend

Opening weekend 19 November

IT’S TIME TO FLY

THREDBO DOWNHILL SEASON BEGINS –  NOVEMBER 19

It’s time to dust off those wings, dig out the courage and get ready to fly, as the nation’s premier downhill mountain bike track opens for the summer season.

Be the first to get big air on four new jumps when Thredbo officially opens for bikes on November 19.

To get the wheels rolling we’ve put together an opening weekend ticket special.  Pre- book on line and pay only $100 for as much downhill as you can handle all weekend. This is an online only opening weekend special.

There’s a BBQ  – to keep those legs pumping.

There’s tunes spinning – to keep those vibes happening.

There’s a Garage sale - to keep those bargains happening.

Australian Masters MTB ace – Downhill Danny – will be heading the South East Mountain Bike Thredbo Crew in 2012 and has been busy preparing the mountain for the season ahead.

Along with the four new BIG air opportunities, there’s also new B Lines for those yet to find their wings.

Danny has new hire bikes on offer from the TREK Session 8 and Kona Operator through to the GT Fury and Mongoose Bootr.  And the new consolidated Valley Terminal location means quick access to equipment and repairs.

Whether you are a beginner or a PRO, those looking for some skill sessions or guiding can book in for some one-on-one or group time with one of the experienced SE MTB Crew.

WHAT’S IT COST

The good news in 2012 is we’ve frozen ticket prices. A season pass is still $699, giving you 170 days of downhilling. 2 day passes can still be purchased for $130 and 3 days for $180.
