Hybrid Bikes

A hybrid bicycle is a bicycle designed for use on roads and bike paths, with influence from both the road bicycle and the mountain bicycle. A relatively recent type of bicycle, the hybrid aims to retain the features of mountain bicycles which have made them accessible and popular, but are designed to be more suitable for urban use.

In general, hybrids use mountain bike gears to make riding in hilly environments easier, and have an upright riding position similar to a mountain bike. Handlebars are neither downturned like a road bicycle nor flat like a mountain bicycle. Rather, they have a slight upturn, providing for a more upright seating position.

Hardtail

Hardtail mountain bikes are suitable for novice and expert alike. Experience great acceleration and superb handling from the moment you take off.

Dual Suspension

Dual suspension frames really soak up the bumps, great for riders who want to take the trails a bit harder, or just cruise the streets and trails in more comfort.

Womens

Women’s bikes are engineered specifically for women. Each bike puts you in a more natural riding position by redistributing weight more evenly between hips and hands. That means more comfort, better control and optimal power.

Women’s bicycles are crafted to fit the serious female cyclist. We start with a specifically engineered frame geometry that caters to a woman’s natural body shape.

Taller Head Tube – The angle that a woman’s tail bone contacts the seat is critical in creating a comfortable riding position. A taller head tube allows for the woman’s upper body to be positioned higher which, in turn, rotates the tailbone into the ideal position for maximum comfort.
Steeper Seat Tube Angle – Due to a woman’s naturally shorter femur length, we’ve increased the seat tube angle to give the rider a better position over the bottom bracket. Again, this gives the rider a more comfortable pedaling position.
Shorter Top Tube Length – It is natural that women have shorter arms and torso. A shorter top tube length brings the handle bar in closer for a more comfortable feel.

We also take designing to the next level by combining these frame updates with components specifically chosen with women in mind. By using a shorter stem, narrower handlebars and a smaller diameter grip, you will have more precise steering and better control. Combine that with short-reach brake levers for more stopping power and women’s specific saddles for more comfort and performance.

All together, these critical changes give the serious female cyclist more efficiency, better control, and more comfort.
